Overview:
For the vast majority of firewalls, you will not need to manually configure any ports to be open for the VPN tunnel to work. Some firewalls may need to be manually configured, however. Make sure to try to use your VPN before opening up any ports on your firewall.
Procedure:
The actual procedure for opening up ports will vary depending on the router/firewall you use. The settings are listed below. (If you want to select a destination for these ports to ensure these ports are only open to the Link2Exchange VPN server, it's 66.211.136.62.)
Ports required:
Protocol: UDP
Port: 500
Direction: Send/Receive
Protocol: UDP
Port: 4500
Direction: Send/Receive
Protocol: UDP
Port: 10000
Direction: Send/Receive
Once you've reconfigured your firewall to allow those ports, you should be able to connect your VPN tunnel.
