Overview:
Every change made to a Link2Exchange account or organization is logged and stored so that the administrator for that organization can review all of the changes made to it and to its users. The audit logs can be review in the Link2Exchange control panel.
Procedure:
- Log in to the Link2Exchange control panel as the admin account for your domain (admin@domain.com).
- Under Reports, click Action Log.
- To search your audit logs by date...
- Click search by date.
- Enter in the start date for your search..
- Enter in the end date for your search.
- Click Search
- All future results will be restricted to this date range until you log out or click 'All Logs'.
- To see a list of only failed actions, put a check next to Failed and remove the checks from running and successful.
- You can use any combination of these three check boxes to limit the results of your audit log search.
- If you see an error in your logs that you have a question about, open a ticket via our control panel.
- Copy the error message from the audit log by highlighting the error with your mouse then click Edit->Copy in Internet Explorer.
- Fill out our web-based ticketing system form at: http://www.link2exchange.com/support.htm.
- Put in your contact information next to Name, Company and Exchange Email Address.
- Next to Issue is Regarding, select Other.
- In explanation of issue, click Edit->Paste to paste the content of the error message and add a brief note explaining what you were trying to do that caused the error.
- Click Send Information. You will be notified as soon as we determine the root cause of your error. (Our response time is generally within one hour during normal business days (M-F 9am-5pm EST).) Given the fact that some of these errors are complicated, it may take up to two hours.
