Overview:
By default, your Blackberry handheld device will not receive e-mail messages to it while it is in the cradle. It may still receive other updates such as calendar appointments however. If you want the Blackberry to continue to receive e-mails regardless of in cradle state follow the procedure below.
Procedure:
- Open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software.
- Double click the Redirecter Settings option.
- Uncheck the 'Disable email redirection while your handheld is connected.' option.
- Click OK.
- Double-click Intellisync.
- Make sure Synchronize PIM is checked.
- Click Synchronize Now to ensure your new settings take effect.
- Click Close (or OK) and exit Desktop Manager. E-mail will now be delivered to your handheld wirelessly whether it's connected to your computer or not.
