Overview:
Occassionally a Blackberry device will lose its ability to wirelessly sync your calendar properly. This will result in the failure of changes made on the Desktop to be reflected on the Blackberry and vice versa. Should this happen to you, follow the steps below to re-enable your wireless sync.
Procedure:
- On the home screen of your Blackberry device, click Calendar.
- Click the trackwheel to pull up the menu then click Options.
- Scroll down and highlight the value next to Wireless Synchronization.
- Click the trackwheel to pull up the menu then click Change Option.
- Click No. In order to ensure your phone has wireless sync enabled, you must first disable it which is what you're doing here.
- Click the trackwheel to pull up the menu then click Save.
- Click the trackwheel to pull up the menu then click Options.
- Scroll down and highlight the value next to Wireless Synchronization.
- Click the trackwheel to pull up the menu then click Change Option.
- Click Yes.
- Click the trackwheel to pull up the menu then click Save.
- Now create a new calendar appointment on your Desktop Outlook and another one on your Blackberry to test your wireless sync. If you're still having trouble, contact our support department at or via email at support@link2exchange.com.
