Overview:
If your Blackberry is continually restarting itself for no reason, follow the procedure below.
Procedure:
- Remove the battery cover from the back of your Blackberry.
- Using a paperclip, push the recessed 'Reset' button to reset your Blackberry.
- Put the battery cover back on.
- Once the Blackberry comes back up, click Options.
- Click Network (or Network Settings).
- Click to pull down the drop-down menu and click Register Now.
- NOTE: Some newer Blackberry devices don't have a Register Now in Network Options. Instead click on Host Routing Table in the Options screen and click Register Now on the pull-down menu.
You should receive an email message indicating that you were successfully registered on your providers network. If you don't, contact your cellular carrier.
