MX records needed to move your Business account domain to Link2Exchange

Document: Q1257

Overview:

In some cases, Link2Exchange Business account customers do not want to move control of their DNS over to Link2Exchange's DNS servers. The move is optional, though recommended. You can still use Link2Exchange without switching your DNS servers by updating your MX records for your domain to match the ones below.

NOTE: Contact support@link2exchange.com 24 hours in advance to confirm when you will be changing your MX records to point to our Link2exchange servers. The administrator can then setup our servers to be authoritative over your domain email.

Procedure:

  1. Add these four MX records to point to Link2Exchange's anti-spam/anti-virus servers.
    1. Server Name: domain.com.s5a1.psmtp.com.
      Priority: 100

    2. Server Name: domain.com.s5a2.psmtp.com.
      Priority: 200

    3. Server Name: domain.com.s5b1.psmtp.com.
      Priority: 300

    4. Server Name: domain.com.s5b2.psmtp.com.
      Priority: 400
