Installing the Link2Exchange VPN client for Windows

Overview:

In order to connect to the Link2Exchange mail server with Microsoft Outlook, you must first establish a secure connection to our network. To do this, download the Link2Exchange VPN client from our secure download site: https://www.link2exchange.com/downloads/. Log in with your email address and password to access the download.

Once you've downloaded our VPN client, follow the instructions below to set it up.

Procedure:

  1. Double click on the Link2Exchange VPN Client installer.


  2. The VPN software will automatically install on your PC, preconfigured to connect to Link2Exchange.


  3. Once the installation is complete, close any open applications you’re running and click Finish to restart your computer.


  4. Once your PC has rebooted, click ‘Start-->Programs-->Link2Exchange-->Link2Exchange VPN Dialer’ to launch your Link2Exchange VPN dialer.


  5. Click Connect to connect via a secure tunnel to Link2Exchange.


  6. For your username user the following: you@yourdomain.com (The password is your email password.)


  7. Once you’re connected, you can open Outlook and connect to your Exchange email.
You may also connect to Link2Exchange via your web browser. The URL to connect to us is https://mail.link2exchange.com. Again, log in with your email address and password and you’ll be able to use all of the features of Microsoft’s Outlook Web Access for Exchange Server 2003.
