 Troubleshooting

I changed or mis-typed my password and now I can't log in.

Document: Q1071

Overview:

When you change your password (through our user control panel interface) you may find that you're not able to log in due to your autologin script having the old password in it. Should your account become locked out due to multiple failures, the only solution is to perform the steps below (if you're using our AutoLogin script) and wait 15 minutes for your account to become unlocked.

Procedure:

There are two ways to fix this. - OR -
  1. Right click on the ProfConf icon in your task bar and click Configure.

  2. Next to Password, delete the asterisks and type in your new password.

  3. Next to Confirm Password, delete the asterisks and type in your new password again.

  4. If you'd like to change the delay in how long it takes our auto-configuration tool to log you in, click the pull-down menu next to Refresh Interval and select a new one.

  5. Click OK.
