Overview:
Some Link2Exchange Business account customers do not have all of the e-mail for their domain hosted with Link2Exchange. Some e-mail for their domain is located on another server which is the authoritative server for that domain. In those cases, the Link2Exchange server must have e-mail forwarded from the authoritative server to it for the accounts which it hosts. (If the mail isn't forwarded, it will just sit at the authoritative server and will never reach Link2Exchange.)
NOTE: Personal Account (@link2exchange.com) Customers do not need to use this document. You can just forward e-mail to your @link2exchange.com e-mail address.
Procedure:
Please use the customize feature at the top of this page if you have not done so already.
On your existing e-mail account service for you@yourdomain.com, configure your account to forward to: (If this is not your email account, use the customize feature at the top of this page)
user.domain.com@server.name
For example, if your user account with Link2Exchange was bsmith@example.com you would forward the account to: bsmith.example.com@server.name
You may have to call your current service provider to enable this option, or they may have provided some type of automated system for this.
