Overview:
Link2Exchange strongly recommends using the most up-to-date software possible on your Blackberry. Blackberry 4.0 is a significant upgrade over prior versions in both ease of use and features. To upgrade your phone, contact the technical support for your cellular provider.
Use the procedure below to determine what version of software your Blackberry is currently using.
Procedure:
- On your Blackberry's home screen, click Options.
- In the Options windows, scroll down and click About.
- The version of software running on your phone will be listed right under the line 'Wireless Handheld'. For our purposes, anything 4.0 or above is good.
- If you're running software prior to version 4.0, Link2Exchange strongly recommends that you contact your cellular provider to upgrade your phone to the latest software.
