How can I upgrade my Macintosh to OS-X version 10.1.5 or greater so I can use the Link2Exchange VPN client?

Overview:
Link2Exchange's VPN client requires OS-X version 10.1.5 or greater. If you don't have OS-X version 10.1.5 or greater, you will need to upgrade to use Link2Exchange's Outlook client. (Note: You can still use the OWA web access because it doesn't require VPN access.)
Procedure:
If you're connecting from a Macintosh at work, please make sure you get approval from your local network administrator before performing this procedure. Link2Exchange makes no warranty expressed or implied as to the stability of the updates provided by Macintosh.
If you're running Macintosh OS-X v10.1.x, you can download a free upgrade from Apple using the following procedure:
- Make sure you're connected to the Internet and have closed all other programs (such as Internet Explorer, Apple Works, etc) prior to performing this procedure.
- Click Apple-->System Preferences.
- Under System, click Software Update.
- Click Update Now.
- Make sure that the update to OS-X version 10.1.5 (or greater) has a check mark next to it.
- Click Install
- You will be prompted for the administrator username and password for your Macintosh. If you know it, type it in and click OK. (Note: This username and password is for your Macintosh, not your Link2Exchange email. If you don't know your Macintosh's administrator username and password then try using the username and password you log into your computer with. If that fails, contact your local network administrator for assistance.)
- Read the Software Update license agreement. If you agree to the terms of it, click Agree. Once you agree, the software will begin to download and will install itself automatically.
- When prompted, reboot your Macintosh.
If you're using a Macintosh running OS-X v10.0.x or earlier, you will need to purchase an OS upgrade from the Apple Online Store in order to use the Link2Exchange VPN client. Remember, though, that you can still connect to your Link2Exchange email via your Internet Explorer web browser at https://mail.link2exchange.com without upgrading your Macintosh to OS-X version 10.1.5 or greater.
