Overview:
By default ActiveSync will only download email in your Inbox that was received within the past three days and calendar entries from within the past 3 months. To modify these settings, follow the procedure below. To sync more email folders than just the Inbox, see related links below.
Procedure:
- Connect your phone to your PC.
- Click Start->Programs->Microsoft ActiveSync.
- If requested, select your Outlook profile and log in with your username and password.
- In ActiveSync, click Options.

- Under Server, click Configure.

- To extend the time period for Calendar entries to be downloaded to your phone...
- Click Calendar then click Settings.

- Choose the time period to synchronize. (From: All, 2 Weeks, 1 Month, 3 Months or 6 Months)

- Click OK.
- To extend the time period for email messages to be downloaded to your phone...
- Click Inbox then click Settings.

- Choose the amount of messages to synchronize. (From: All, 1 Day, 3 Days, 1 Week, 2 Weeks, or 1 Month)
- Select the option for how much of each message should be downloaded (From: .5k, 1k, 5k, All, Header-Only)
- Click OK.

- Click OK again.
- Click OK one more time.
- Click Sync to resync your Pocket PC and your new settings will take effect.
