Overview:
Over time many users Blackberry devices become cluttered with applications, making it hard to find what you want when you want it. Thankfully, there's an alternative to removing seldom-used applications: you can hide them! Occasionally one of these hidden applications becomes important and you'll want to unhide it so you can have easier access to it. Follow the procedure below to unhide icons on your Blackberry device's home screen.
Procedure:
- Go to your Blackberry device's home screen.
- Highlight the icon for the application on the home screen which you wish to hide.
- If you don't see your hidden application on your Blackberry device's home screen...
- Press and hold the half-moon key then click the trackwheel to pull down the icon manipulation menu.
- Click Show All.
- Press and hold the half-moon key then click the trackwheel to pull down the icon manipulation menu.
- Click Hide Application. This will remove the check mark from next to 'Hide Application' and the X will be removed from the icon.
- If you would like to re-hide the remaining hidden applications on your Blackberry device's home screen...
- Press and hold the half-moon key then click the trackwheel to pull down the icon manipulation menu.
- Click Show All to remove the check mark next to Show All.
