Configuring the Blackberry Desktop Software to connect to Link2Exchange

Overview:
Once you've installed the Blackberry Desktop Software, follow the procedure below to configure it to connect your Blackberry to our Link2Exchange service. If you haven't installed the Blackberry Desktop Software yet, click on the link at the bottom of this page titled 'Installing the Blackberry Desktop Software for Windows.
Please note: Blackberry doesn't currently support Macintosh clients.
NOTE: Before you can configure your Blackberry to connect to Link2Exchange, you must first subscribe to our Blackberry service. See http://www.link2exchange.com/blackberry.htm for more details.
Procedure:
- If the Blackberry Desktop Software client hasn't opened automatically, click Start->Programs->Blackberry->Desktop Manager.
- The first time the Blackberry Desktop Software loads, you'll be prompted for your Username, Password and Domain Name.
 Your username is your full email address. (e.g. joeuser@link2exchange.com) You password is your email password. You will not need to put in a domain name as it will grey itself out when you enter in your username. Click OK.If you receive the error message, "Your Mail Server Does not Support Wireless Synchronization" then your account has not been activated on the BES server. If so, Activate your Blackberry Live Integration now! (Account activation takes 1 business day. You will receive email confirmation when the activation is complete.)
- The Desktop software will now load in offline mode. (All the icons are grayed out). Connect your Blackberry's USB cable to a free USB port on your computer and to the Blackberry. Make sure your Blackberry is turned on.
- The Desktop software should now be in online mode. Double click Intellisync.

- Make sure the four items at the top are checked then click Configure PIM.

- Click once on Calendar then in the Calendar section (on the right), click Choose.

- Click Blackberry Wireless Sync. Under Operation, click Synchronize. Click OK

- Confirm that Calendar now points to Blackberry Wireless Sync then click OK.

- Click Auto start.

- Make sure that all of the boxes are checked then click OK.

- Click Synchronize Now. Once you've synchronized, you will be able to receive email and calendar updates from your Link2Exchange account through your Blackberry in real-time!

- Click Close to exit the Blackberry Desktop Software.
