On older mobile devices without the Microsoft Messaging and Security Feature pack installed, the 'As Items Arrive' sync option uses SMS text messaging to send up-to-date notifications to the device. Link2Exchange does not support this configuration and highly recommends against configuring your device this way. Most providers charge a per-message fee for these messages and configuring your device in this manor can create thousands of messages.
