Document: Q1147

Overview:

Link2Exchange provides an easy-to-use tool that will automatically configure your email account settings for you if you use Outlook 2000 or Outlook 2003. Just log in to your account control panel to download it.

Procedure:

  1. Print these directions for future reference.
  2. Log in to your account control panel.

  3. Under 'Hosted Exchange 2003', click Desktop Outlook Setup'.

  4. Click 'Download Executable'.

  5. When prompted as to what to do with the file, click Save and save it to your Desktop.

  6. Scan the file for viruses. (This is always a good idea - even when you know the source of the file.)

  7. Once the file has been shown to be free of viruses, double click on ProfConf.exe on your Desktop to launch it.

  8. Next to Profile Name, type 'L2E' then click Configure.

  9. Click OK. Your profile will automatically be configured and Outlook will be launched to connect to Link2Exchange.
If this step fails, make sure your VPN connection to Link2Exchange is up and try again. If it continues to fail, contact our support at .
