Adding your SharePoint URL to a Exchange Outlook sub folder

Overview:

Some users like to be able to access their SharePoint within the same Exchange Outlook profile.


Procedure:

·         Launch and Login to your Link2exchange Outlook profile

·         Right click on your Outlook INBOX and create a folder called SharePoint

·         Simply right click on your new SharePoint sub folder and choose property

·         Within the SharePoint Properties folder choose Home Page. Check off “Show home page by default for this folder”.

·         Type out the address of your SharePoint URL: For Example: http://sp.yourdomainname.com/

·         Click apply to the SharePoint Property folder

·         Now double click on your new  SharePoint sub-folder and Login with your username and password, your site will then launch within Outlook.
